At the NNMC, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional healthcare environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. Please review our clinic policies to ensure a positive experience for everyone.  

Appointment Policies

Booking Appointments: Appointments can be scheduled by calling +1 705-495-2685. Online booking will be available soon.

Cancellations & No-Shows: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed appointments may result in a cancellation fee.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Code of Conduct

Our clinic is a zero-tolerance environment for disrespectful behavior.

  • Respect & Courtesy: Patients and visitors must treat all staff and other patients with respect and professionalism.
  • No Verbal Abuse: Rude behavior, foul language, shouting, or threats towards staff or others will not be tolerated.
  • Zero Tolerance for Aggression: Any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or violence will result in immediate removal from the clinic and possible permanent expulsion.

Failure to follow this policy may result in being discharged as a patient and/or security involvement.


Billing & Payment Policies

OHIP Coverage: We accept OHIP, but some services may not be covered.

Uninsured Services: Certain medical forms, procedures, and travel consultations may require payment.

Payment Methods: We accept cash & Cheques


Privacy & Confidentiality

Patient Information: All medical records are confidential and protected under privacy laws.

Test Results: For privacy reasons, most results require a follow-up appointment.

No Sharing of Medical Information: We can only discuss a patient’s medical details with the patient or an authorized individual.


Prescription & Medication Policies

Prescription Renewals: Some prescriptions can be renewed without an appointment. Call to check with your physician.

Narcotic & Controlled Medications: These prescriptions require an in-person consultation and are subject to strict guidelines.

Medication Concerns: If you experience side effects, please contact the clinic before stopping your medication


Clinic Environment & Accessibility

Wheelchair Accessibility: Our clinic is fully accessible for all patients.

Fragrance-Free Policy: To accommodate individuals with sensitivities, we ask that patients avoid wearing strong fragrances.

Children & Supervision: Children must be supervised at all times.
